This program prepares the participant for second language and cross-cultural instruction through classroom teaching in a middle school setting. The16 day interactive teaching program includes local and regional tours in Guilin, China, which is an international, scenic wonderland. No knowledge of Chinese language is necessary. Participants will be using comparative US and Chinese experiences as a mode of instruction, rather than formal English instruction; thus, creating an interactive teaching environment. CGPs Program exposes participants to Anthropology, Political and Social Sciences, Education, Business, Economics, Language Arts, Multicultural and Ethnic Studies as they relate to life in China.
